Background: Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh Police Department, I worked security for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard Base. Currently I am an officer assigned to the bicycle unit. I am also a member of the Honor Guard, Rapid Deployment Team and a Field Training Officer.
Interests: When I am not working, you can find me outside playing golf or softball. I also enjoy traveling, trying local cuisine, catching a movie or reading about U.S. History. H2P
Sergeant Mark A. Villaseñor

Background: Prior to becoming a police officer, I was a pharmaceutical sales representative. I made a career change and joined UPPD. I have held the position as police officer, SERT operator, plain clothes detective, detective sergeant, patrol sergeant and my current role as Community Relations / Neighborhood Resource Unit Supervisor. I spearheaded, the Pitt Police “Most Wanted” food drive. The food collected has been donated to the Pitt Pantry, (CHS) Community Human Services South Oakland, Islamic Center of Pittsburgh and the Light of Life.
I recently received the University of Pittsburgh 2018 Staff Professional Development Award in Honor of Ronald W. Frisch.
Interests: I enjoy lazy days on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. I will never turn down a good Cuban sandwich and a Cuban coffee. In my spare time I like selling on eBay and buying cryptocurrency.
Sergeant Brooke Riley

Background: Before joining UPPD, I worked in juvenile probation. I’ve enjoyed advising college women in my sorority Pi Beta Phi. At UPPD, I have enjoyed training new officers as a Field Training Officer. I am also an assistant instructor for defense tactics for the department’s response to active killer training. I was recently named an Emerging Leader within the Business and Operations of the University of Pittsburgh. I recently received my Masters Degree here at Pitt and was also promoted to Sergeant.
Interests: I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy cooking and travelling with my husband. My hobbies include amateur boxing, working out and baking. I appreciate a hot cup of coffee and a good book.
Guard Nashaun L. Forney

Background: Training Center Faculty for the American Heart Association; Pennsylvania Department of Health EMS Instructor; Nationally Certified Paramedic; Tactical Emergency Medical Support Provider.
I am Security Guard with our department and have taken on the additional responsibilities of CPR & First Aid training for our department members and also provide medical support for our department’s SERT unit. Outside of the University I work for two local EMS Agencies and as adjunct instructor at CCAC and Energy Innovation Center Institute. I am the proud parent of five children and have one grandson and another grandchild due by the end of this summer. My current goal is to complete my Bachelors Degree and attend a Physician Assistant Program.
Interests: Soccer, College Basketball, Live Music, Outdoor Activities with the family, and travel.
