'Survival Spanish' Benefits Officers
University of Pittsburgh Police Officer Juan Polanco is helping officers bridge the communication gap between Hispanic residents and law enforcement by teaching “Survival Spanish.” He hopes not only to build better understanding, but also to create cultural awareness and even save lives.
